Then come to "Mind Games: An Anthology" by Paul Elliott, coming May 28th, 29th and June 4th, 5th.

Theatre of the Poor is producing three one act plays in person alongside a nationwide live stream. to raise money for the National Association on Mental Illness (NAMI), and the Trevor Project. We're doing this fundraiser for Mental Health Awareness Month and Pride.

"Mind Games: An Anthology" is..

Three one-act plays with themes of suicide, stress, mental illness, introspection, hate crimes, LGBTQ+, empathy, and many other thought provoking subjects.

The first is the "Ledge, Ledger and the Legend"

- A comedy about a young man's suicide attempt when rival professional suicide counselors vie for his business.

The second is "Mind Games"

- A drama about a psychiatrist agreeing to delve into a mind of a troubled young man and finds a reality more terrifying than imagination.

The third is "The Door"

- A drama about a grandmother locking herself away, while her grandson desperately tries to reach her, leading to a night that will change their lives forever.

*On May 28th, 29th, the show will be performed in the order of "Ledger", "Door", and then "Mind Games" for Mental Health Awareness Month.

*On June 4th and 5th, the acts will be in the order of "Ledger", "Mind Games", and then "Door" for Pride
